1. Student will select a ornament template to use as the base of their project. _____/2

3. Students will use a tool to cut their ornament shape from their flattened clay _____/5
4. Craftsmanship, the student has smoothed all edges and added at least 3
additional pieces to their project _____/5
5. The additional pieces have been added to their project using the scoring and slipping technique. _____/3
Enrichment:
Students who would like to use more than 3 additional pieces are encouraged to do so.
Remediation:
Students who are having trouble adding pieces will need to add only 1
