Kindergarten Watercolor stained glass windows
The kindergarteners learned about artist/architect Frank Lloyd Wright and his stained glass windows used in the homes he designed like Falling Waters (Above Right) and in other many homes. There is a Frank Lloyd Wright home in Oberlin near Oberlin College. Enjoy!
Objectives:
Kindergarten Objectives
Identifying Shapes and colors associated with their pictures.
Perceiving/Knowing (PE) Observe
2PE Name and point out subject matter and details observed in works of art.
Creating simple shapes to use as the point of interest.
Producing/Performing (PR)
4PR Reduce objects into basic shapes and lines in relation to the whole image.
Apply shapes of one color next to another to create contrast in their picture.
Responding/Reflecting (RE)
1RE Describe their artworks and efforts and share their artmaking processes.

I can explain how to use water color paint.
I can make vertical and horizontal lines with a ruler.
