Kindergarten First Thing First Flower Picture
The kindergarten students will start out the year by creating a Georgia O'Keeffe style flower using their own hand as the petals.
Here are the steps, each is illustrated in the video and the steps below:
Steps:

2. Trace your hand, have it going up, to the left, and to the right to make the flower pedals. _____/X +/-
3. Draw a stem with 2 leaves. _____/X +/-
4. Draw a horizon line between the stem the petals and bottom of the paper.

6. Draw in your mountains ON the horizon line behind your flower

7. Colorize using 1 color for your petals and the colors you would see in the background of the picture from real life. Blue for sky, yellow for sun, green for grass and so on.
