Printmaking Project
The 3rd grade students learned about various printmaking artist such as Andy Warhol and Albrecht Durer. They then drew a picture from a book or magazine onto their printmaking block using a transfer method covered in the videos below. Students then made 2 to 5 proof (prints) and then made 4 to 5 actual prints. We then mounted them onto white or black paper depending on the ink and paper used and the effect we were trying to emphasize with their background paper. Enjoy!
