Snowmen At Night
Winter Wonderland Pastel Resist
The kindergarten students drew in their scene first drawing a horizon line, 4 trees and a snowman. We worked on figuring out how to draw trees from the bottom up using simple triangular shapes after first drawing in a wavy horizon line. Students next colored in their design using a white crayon to add resist sections to their picture. They next added a water, then light blue paint in strips which had red painted over top so they could mix and create a purple sky. Use the videos below to create your own! Enjoy

I Can Statements:

I can tell you how to create a resist using crayon.
I can tell you how to mix colors
