Sol Lewitt Mixed Media Project
The Kindergarten students will:
*Create two (2) vertical 6x9 inch panels made from at least 4 different colors (2 cool and 2 warm)
Students will cut out shapes after tracing them onto their paper.
*Use at least (2) different shapes total, as illustrated in the example similar to Sol LeWitt's work. LeWitt used basic shapes and colors in his minimalistic work which is displayed in museums all over the world.
Enrichment:
Students may use 2 different shapes in each panel rather than just one.
Remediation:
Students may use just 1 shape if they are having a hard time with cutting
