Fall Watercolor LEaves
The second grade students learned about wet on wet and wet on dry watercoloring techniques and created stain glass window like leaves for home. They were to use at least three different fall colors on their leaves. Enjoy!
Assessment:
1. Students will trace either the oak or maple leaves using the template provided. They will me 2 leaves total. ____/5
2. Students will use the wet on wet watercolor technique to create mixing effect on the leaf as
demonstrated in class by the instructor . ____/5
3. Students will use the wet on dry marker watercolor technique to create mixing effect on the leaf as
demonstrated in class by the instructor . _____/5
4. Craftsmanship, students will paint in their leaf completely and will make sure they paint all the way
out to the leafs edges. _____/5
5. Once laminated students will add a border going over their pencil lines neatly to create a border
path to cut along. ____/5
