Pattern Project
Use ALL cool or ALL warm colors for your pattern!
The Kindergarten students will:
*Create a warm and cool colored pattern crayon resist illustration that uses the imagery from the demonstration given in class in side the various columns they created through the folding portion of the project .
*Students will draw in at least 3 pairs of shapes using at least 3 warm or cool colors creating an "A,B,A,B" pattern.
*Students will use crayon to color in the shapes to add a crayon resist portion to their illustration.
*Students will paint in their room using green and the wet on wet water color technique.
Enrichment:
Students may draw in 4 initial shapes using an "A,B,B,A" pattern.
Remediation:
Students may draw in 2 or 3 large shapes (instead of pairs) in addition to objects depending on their ability level. T

I can explain which shapes are included in m picture and why.
I can explain how warm and cool colors are used in my project.
I can explain the difference between horizontal rows and vertical columns.
I can work with Mr.Kacur on placing my illustration evenly on black mount board.

5RE Describe what they see and feel in selected works of art.
